Hanger Clinic introduces the Otto Bock X3 bionic knee system. Cameron Clapp lost both legs above the knees in 2001 and is the first civilian to be fit with the Otto Bock X3 bionic knee system. The X3 is water proof and includes 5 additional programmable modes that can be used for running, snow boarding, snow skiing, cycling and other activities. This is the same X3 knee that is available to the military. Cameron is the first bilateral above knee amputee in the world to be fit with the X3.
