Built originally for Dake himself and held back for over a year, this instrument showcases an extraordinary set of flamed mahogany that he had been saving for decades, paired with a beautifully voiced spruce top and traditional fan bracing in the Hauser style. The visual impact is immediate, but it is the sound that really steals the show. Despite being so new to the world, this guitar already speaks with a deep, mature core, shimmering trebles, and a remarkable palette of colors across the register. The balance, projection, and overtone content make it equally compelling for lyrical playing and powerful concert repertoire. Design details abound throughout, from the dark rosette variation to the wheat motif on the tie block and matching center strip on the back, the rosewood bridge, and the elegant headstock veneers. Rubner "El Sonido" high end tuners with white rollers complete the package.
