Putting the Activier to the test with Wet-Dry-Wet stereo Looping | Simplifier DLX + Infinity Looper

We've taken our stereo experiments to the next stage: wet-dry-wet stereo looping! To make this possible, we're using one of our Reformer 112 cabs fitted with an Activier 2 (stereo): https://barefacedaudio.com/collection... Then, using the ‪@dsmhumboldt‬ Simplifier DLX, we split the signal from the ‪@PigtronixPedals‬ Infinity Looper into the Activier 2 (fitted in a Reformer 112, loaded with a ‪@CelestionUK‬ Neo 250 Copperback) The right output then links to a passive Reformer 112, loaded with a Redback. These two cabs are the "Wet" Then we take the the THRU on the Simplifier DLX and connect it to the Fuchs Blackjack MKII head, which is linked to another Reformer 112 fitted with a G12-65 Heritage. This acts as the "Dry" We're using the JM47 (large diaphragm condenser microphone) as a room mic, but slightly on-axis with the "Dry" cab/off-axis from the "Wet". We then use 2x SE4400A's, one focused on the left, one focused on the right. They've been panned accordingly. The video goes into plenty of detail regarding the board and set-up, but if you have any questions/suggestions then leave us a comment! 0:00-6:49 Intro +rig/board rundown 6:49-08:40 First loop 08:40-11:36 Isolating dry and wet 11:36-13:57 Second loop 14:20-16:18 All wet loop 16:18-19:20 When to wet-dry-wet? 19:20-21:07 Dirty stereo, dry on/off 21:07-28:35 Final thoughts and variations on a theme   / barefacedaudio     / barefacedaudio
