In this video, we explore the village of Panchevo (or Ayvacık in Turkish), located just 5 minutes from the center of Kardzhali, Bulgaria. We previously visited this area with the village headman, Mr. Şaban, and filmed a meaningful monument erected by a businessman living in Istanbul in memory of his deceased son. This time, however, we're back on a sunny day to explore the village in more detail. On this trip, we explored the village step by step with Patron, the owner of the "My Father Founded in the Balkans" and "Traveling Horizons" channels. Despite it being winter, the village's lush greenery, the vibrancy of nature, and the cows grazing around showed how active village life is. We had warm conversations with the elderly women and men sitting at the entrance of the village. Then we had a long conversation with the former village headman. Our conversation with the 90-year-old man was both cheerful and very meaningful. We listened to his stories of village life from the past to the present, his memories of the old days, and his experiences. Of course, one of the most frequently asked questions was about houses and land for sale in Bulgaria. We spoke with the village headman about this and tried to gather information. Most of the houses in the village are quite modern, even resembling villas in style. In this episode, we explored the village in general.
