David "Syd" Lawrence KO's Andrew Penn but gets disqualified
Former Gloucestershire & England fast bowler Syd Lawrence saw the red mist when he pulled on boxing gloves for his charity fight with New Zealander Andrew Penn. Syd was a promising amateur boxer before taking up cricket but when he got back in the ring he let the Kiwi have everything he'd got. Unfortunately Syd landed the KO punch after the referee had stepped in to stop the fight in the first round
