Grudza

Today we'll visit the highest-altitude village in the entire Jizera Foothills. It lies at an altitude of 430 to 500 meters above sea level. This small village is called Grudza. This chain of villages is less than two kilometers long and was founded in the second half of the 13th century. The oldest mention of Grudza comes from a famous document from 1305, where the village is listed as Bonaluti.
