Restoring this rusty old industrial lamp from Schröder Lobenstein - a brief restoration project

In this video we're restoring a sad old industrial lamp produced by Metallwerke Schröder in Lobenstein. This restoration project was discovered in an online auction a few weeks ago, prompting us to breathe new life into it. While we typically appreciate preserving patina, this lamp had been coated in a thick layer of green paint, and accumulated grime had rendered all moving parts immobile. A comprehensive renovation was imperative, but at least we succeeded in maintaining the original paint on the shade. Enjoy the transformation!
