Sheriff's deputy charged in deaths of two K-9 partners
A Salem County Sheriff's Office sergeant is facing charges after prosecutors allege he left two K-9 partners in a hot vehicle for seven hours, resulting in their deaths. According to charging documents, Sgt. Cody Henderson is charged with offenses that include inflicting cruelty on an animal and causing an injury that results in the death of an animal.
