In this program: We speak with Agricultural Engineer Juan Andrés Moreira about the state of pastures and livestock in the department of Tacuarembó. He also provides management recommendations for breeding females and heifers. In the 23rd Workshop on Pregnancy Diagnosis Evaluation, we talk with Agricultural Engineer Graciela Quintans about this year's results. We also speak with Dr. Emilio Machado about the activity, the results, and the variables that influenced the 82.1% average positivity rate of the sample considered in the workshop. We speak with Agricultural Engineer Esteban Montes about the international meat market, Uruguayan exports, and their impact on the prices of finished cattle and replacement stock. Dr. Betina Cópola discusses zoonoses, diseases transmitted from animals to humans, and tells us that a distance learning course on this topic will be offered soon. We visited the Matos Núñez family farm in Calera del Rey, Maldonado Department, where we spoke with Ana Núñez about her experience on the tour for producers and technicians that took place in Australia as part of the Pasture Management project. She also mentioned the new birdwatching venture she is undertaking on her farm as another source of income.
