Judy Garland's Costume Tests for "Valley of The Dolls" (1967)

Judy Garland was originally cast in Valley of the Dolls (1967), but her involvement in the film is often linked to behind-the-scenes drama rather than her actual performance. She was supposed to play the role of Helen Lawson, a temperamental, aging Broadway star, but her struggles with personal issues, including health problems and substance abuse, led to her being replaced during the filming process. She was filmed for some of the movie, including costume tests seen here before her role was recasted. This high-quality film restoration was proudly remastered by SabuCat Productions / Jeff Joseph and made exclusively available on the History Comes to Life channel.
