Lothians Model Railway Show 2024 – Part 2

The show was held in St. Mary’s Church Hall, in the grounds of the Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club on the outskirts of Edinburgh. This was only the second outing for this event since re-introducing a model railway exhibition to the Edinburgh area last year after many years without one. With over 600 people attending, the show is now too large for the small hall so next year it will be held at nearby Heriot-Watt University. An excellent show guide was provided free of charge and the exhibition was organised by the Pentland Model Railway Group. As an extra bonus we also take a look around the historic St. Mary’s Church itself. For layouts we have featured in earlier videos we try to concentrate on new features and/or different rolling stock if possible. This video comprises two parts and we visited on 6th April 2024.
