DERBY ON LAKE TEXOMA - OCT. 10/2024

I’ve been filming fishing excursions with gopros and other camera gear for a long time, the earliest video I still have is bowfishing a carp on a hero 2 from around 2010, but this is my first full length YouTube video. I’ve done many shorts and little clips, but never an extended video that’s more of vlog type of feel. I’ve wanted to get into these longer videos for some time now and I’m thinking this will be the first of many! This videos is from a derby my dad and I fished this past fall out on lake Texoma, which is right on the border of Texas and Oklahoma. It can be a fun lake, but was pretty stingy during this time period. We were able to swing a check and had a good time doing it, plus caught my biggest smallie the next weekend out there, so overall can’t complain.
