The forest. It would help us adjust to the new reality. Give us building materials and hygiene. Heat, fuel and electricity. Recreation and health. Biodiversity, clean water, a tolerable local climate - and not least help us sequester carbon to stop rampant climate change. But the forest ecosystem is not doing well. Drought and heat cause mass death to the forests, hard-to-heal injuries and declining growth. FLICKER is the film that takes the temperature of an increasingly feverish patient. Can we give the forest resilience - and do we have time?
