The exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to consult Leonardo's writings in digital format and interact with his inventions in unprecedented and engaging ways (interactive stations and virtual reality). Every year its contents in the exhibition itinerary are renewed, making it engaging even for those who have already visited it. It may also be interesting to visit, on the same day, the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, the oldest museum in Milan which houses Leonardo da Vinci's Codex Atlanticus and Musician and other famous masterpieces. The Leonardo3 exhibition – Il Mondo di Leonardo was conceived and organized by the Leonardo3 study center (L3) in Milan, and is the evolution of the one (Leonardo's Laboratory) which in 2009 in Vigevano, with its over 120,000 visitors, it turned out to be the most viewed exhibition ever in the whole province of Pavia. The exhibition itinerary ranges between physical reconstructions of unpublished machines, digital codes, multimedia interactive stations and reconstructions of artistic works such as the Last Supper as it was in Leonardo's time, and periodically the contents are renewed and expanded to make the exhibition attractive also to who has already visited it. New world premiere contents were presented: two machines, the flying "Bicycle" and the flying "Tandem", the multimedia experience dedicated to the Vitruvian Man and the incendiary sphere.
