Living Green on a Blue Planet: "Land, Water, and the Human Story of Indiana"
Breakfast on the Marsh is a public forum hosted by Little River Wetlands Project. Each month a speaker presents on a topic about the environment. For May 2026 the presenter was Tom Swineford of the Sycamore Land Trust. He talked about the history of Northern Indiana, the rivers, the conflicts, and the geology. It was and inclusive and diverse lecture. It included the Miami, the Delaware, the Shawnee, the French, English, and American colonials. It was a fascinating talk on how geology, geography, and culture shape a place.
