Having visited all the planned sights in Malta, we decided to walk to the Mediterranean coast. After studying the maps, we realized it was entirely feasible. We saved the route on our smartphone and set off. The route was only necessary to pass the town of Kalkara, as there was no direct road in the direction we needed. From there, the road would lead to the seashore. In Kalkara, we found a good vantage point overlooking the bay and the town of Birgu on the opposite shore. When we reached the sea, we discovered numerous fortifications. Malta once again lived up to its name: "Island Fortress." The coastline here was also very pleasant. The water felt like a living being. If you visit Malta, you'll definitely appreciate its natural beauty. It's unique, yet very beautiful.
