The tragic train disaster near Starogard, which occurred on April 30, 1925, was one of the most serious rail accidents of the interwar period and one of the worst in the history of Polish railways. International express train No. 907, the Insterburg-Berlin line, derailed between Swarożyn and Starogard stations, on a high curve on line No. 203. The train consisted of nine carriages, including a sleeping car and a luggage car. This film depicts the course of this dramatic event and its consequences, based on original investigation documents preserved in the archives.
