Sugon 8620DX MCU Dead? Fix it Permanently with Arduino!

In this video, I repair a completely dead SUGON 8620DX SMD Hot Air Rework Station whose original STC8G1K17 microcontroller was damaged and unavailable locally WHAT I DID: Replaced STC8G1K17 with Arduino Nano Added 74HC4067 16-channel multiplexer for 9 buttons + reed switch Reverse engineered TM1629B display driver (10x 7-segment) Created custom library "Sugon8620dx.h" for Arduino Implemented EEPROM storage for 4 temperature/airflow channels Added calibration support for K-type thermocouple HOW TO FLASH: Use AVRDUDESS to write the "Sugon_8620_DX_Firmware.bin" file to Arduino Nano CALIBRATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. DISCONNECT 220V heater wires for safety 2. Use external heat source (T12 iron) on thermocouple 3. Type 'cal XXX' in serial monitor (e.g., cal 150) 4. Repeat at different temperatures 5. Auto-saves to EEPROM FEATURES: Heater control with PID-like algorithm Handle lift detection with 30s purge mode 4 memory channels (store/load) Fan speed control with 3.3V PWM scaling Temperature range: 100-500°C Airflow range: 10-100% COMPONENTS USED: Arduino Nano 74HC4067 multiplexer TM1629B display driver SGM8551 thermocouple amplifier JOIN OUR FACEBOOK GROUP   / 537531790319894   CONTACT FACEBOOK   / raoilyas.chand   QUESTIONS?
