Step 2 Eject the Nano-SIM and microSD Card Tray. Step 3 The OnePlus X rear panel is glued on solidly, and is a tight fit within the frame. Apply heat to soften the adhesive. Use the iSesamo Opening Tool to create space and then slip in a triangle opening tool. Use the triangle opening tool to slice through the adhesive and help carefully separate the rear panel from the midframe. Apply additional heat as needed. Step 4 Remove the following 7 Phillips screws securing the protective plate over the OnePlus X motherboard. With the fine tip curved tweezers remove the protective plate. Detach the OnePlus X battery from the motherboard. Utilize the pull tab to remove the battery from the OnePlus X smartphone. Step 5 Use the spudger to disconnect the 13 MP OnePlus X rear-facing camera from the motherboard and then remove it from the phone. Step 6 Remove the following Phillips screw securing the OnePlus X motherboard in place. Detach the OnePlus X power and volume buttons cable, interconnect cable and signal cable from the motherboard. Slide the spudger underneath the motherboard and disconnect the micro-USB port assembly cable. Remove the OnePlus X motherboard. Step 7 Use the tweezers to remove the tape securing the OnePlus X front-facing camera to the motherboard. Detach the 8 MP front-facing selfie camera from the OnePlus X motherboard. Step 8 With the fine tip curved tweezers remove the OnePlus X earpiece speaker. Step 9 Remove the following 8 Phillips screws securing the OnePlus X loudspeaker in place. With the tweezers remove the black plastic strip. Use the nylon spudger to pry up and remove the loudspeaker. Step 10 With the spudger detach the display assembly cable from the interconnect cable. Peel up and remove the OnePlus X interconnect cable. Remove the following Phillips screw securing the micro-USB port assembly to the OnePlus X frame. Disconnect the signal cable. With the tweezers pry up the OnePlus X vibrator, it is soldered to the micro-USB port assembly so do not remove it. Carefully peel up the OnePlus X micro-USB port cable. Use the tweezers to pry up and remove the micro-USB port assembly from the OnePlus X.
