Warm words, the presence of loved ones, and artistic excitement – ​​this is a brief summary of this year's "Family Day," which took place on June 10, 2026, at the Occupational Therapy Workshop in Gołdap. This unique, recurring event has become a permanent fixture in the facility's calendar and remains one of the most important events of the year for the entire Occupational Therapy Workshop community. The workshop participants invited special guests to their home. Parents, siblings, and cousins ​​of the participants, as well as representatives of the municipal and district governments and Caritas, attended in large numbers. A tradition of the celebrations is the artistic portion, which the participants have been meticulously preparing recently under the guidance of instructors. This year's performance was arranged like a professional news program. Agnieszka Iwanowska, the director of the Gołdap facility, took on the role of television news anchor, professionally announcing the upcoming performances of the Occupational Therapy Workshop participants. The creative format of the performance delighted the audience, and the artists received well-deserved applause for their effort and commitment. After the stage performances, there was time for conversation and refreshments. As in previous years, right after the "Family Day" celebrations, the participants will start packing their bags. Soon, the children will embark on a long-awaited trip, this time abroad.
