We’ve finally made it to Grand Bahama Island. We’ll be working our way south and stopping at many of the 700 islands over the next year. We’re starting on Exploring Grand Bahama Island, in the northwest of the Bahamas. Grand Bahama Island puts us one-day’s journey from the States in case a hurricane interrupts our travels, and we need to head back in a hurry. First impressions? Grand Bahama is a tropical paradise. Our marina is great. The food is good. The beaches are empty.
