The Kyushu Shinkansen is basically scheduled so that the preceding train arrives at the final destination first. However, the last Tsubame 343 from Hakata to Kagoshima-Chuo is the only special operation on the Kyushu Shinkansen, where two following trains are allowed to wait at an intermediate station.
