Here are the videos from October 15th and 16th, 2025. On October 15th, we left Shrikarka and went to Thorong Phedi. It was a pleasant trek, with the altitude decreasing and the weather consistently good. However, after lunch at Yakkarka, passing through Ledar, and entering the valley leading to Thorong Phedi, the shadows became cold. Furthermore, we witnessed a rockfall the size of a fist just a few meters in front of us... When we arrived at Thorong Phedi, my wife burst into tears. She was shivering. She said she was so cold. She said she should have put on a padded jacket, but that didn't occur to her. I think that's what altitude sickness is like. It prevents you from thinking rationally. On October 16th, just before 5:00 AM, we left Thorong Phedi and headed to High Camp. In 2018, I left late, after 6 p.m., so I didn't see the view. But the sight of people climbing up at night with their headlamps on was spectacular. The stars in the sky were so beautiful... I walked for four hours to reach Thorong La. As expected, Thorong La isn't a place that inspires emotion or anything special. In fact, I'm more worried about the descent. ^^ We left Thorong Phedi and descended to Muktinath in nine hours. Our original plan was to cross Rubra Pass and visit the viewpoint near Jomsom, but heavy rain after arriving in Nepal meant we lost two days, and we had no choice but to cancel everything after Muktinath. This concludes my 2025 Nar-Phu and Annapurna Circuit treks. It was a particularly meaningful and enjoyable trek, as it was my first trek in a long time with my wife and friends. I look forward to the day I return to the Himalayas.
