Interestingly after starting their design and manufacture in snowsports and then mountain biking, POC are now a prominent road cycling helmet manufacturer. With an emphasis on safety incorporated into Swedish design, their helmets have been well adopted over the last few years, including their sponsorship of the UCI World Tour Team EF Education First-Drapac p/b Cannondale. Following on from the Octal, the Ventral has been designed as a more aerodynamic offering, whilst still retaining good levels of ventilation.
