I soldi che hai in banca non sono i tuoi | Luca Boiardi | TEDxPolitecnico di Torino
In this talk, Luca Boiardi, communicator and entrepreneur, recounts a simple yet revealing episode: one day, at a supermarket checkout, his card doesn't work. A small event that becomes the starting point for a much broader reflection on how our money is fragile, controlled, and often beyond our control. Luca then takes us from Italy to Argentina, telling the story of Alvaro, a bank clerk who explains how no person in Argentina could withdraw more than a small amount daily, blocked by regulations imposed to prevent the country's banking system from collapsing. From these personal and global episodes, a question emerges: is the money we use every day really ours? This is where Bitcoin comes in: a tool with simple, transparent, and equal rules for everyone. A network independent of governments or banks, designed to protect the value and freedom of people in times of sudden crisis. Founder of The Gateway Group, an Italian corporate group that includes, in addition to the educational brand The Crypto Gateway, various initiatives aimed at fostering a responsible approach to crypto and promoting its development and adoption. Within the group, notable projects include the bitcoin cashback platform Bitcashback, the tax reporting software Tatax, and the personal finance budgeting and tracking app Finhub. Before entering the crypto world, he worked as a clinical engineer at the Piacenza Hospital. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
