The dog was running on and off the road when a member of the public got the dog safely. It alerted her of the situation. Another member of the public offered his support with his ladders. They was later used to help lift her. The bridge where she had fallen is 18 feet drop. Members of the public said: "I saw her walking up the road eating chips" A member of the public got down to her and assisted her until further paramedics attended. 3 incidents response units 1 ambulance 1 paramedic 1 air ambulance Time stamps: 11:07 Update from ambulance service: We received an emergency call at 7.40pm yesterday (Tuesday 6 May) to report a person falling down an embankment in Todmorden. A number of ambulance resources were dispatched to the scene, including an ambulance, the air ambulance and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART). One patient was conveyed to hospital by road! 22:02 #HM98 #G-YAAA took off enroute back to base. 21:53 The three #incident #response #unit left the scene, enroute to base. 21:47 The #ambulance left the scene heading to Leeds. 45 minutes by road. 21:45 It was decided she will be travelling by #road #ambulance. Female - 38 21:39 The #HEMS decided she wasn't fit for transport. They decided she will be taken to the #major #trauma #centre in #leeds 21:25 The #ambulance service loaded the female into the back of the ambulance. 21:18 The process of the extraction took place, Using member of public ladders. 20:56 HM98 Is now in attendance 20:10 There's currently ongoing incident at #todmordenpark.
