In the spring of 1977, a group of boys in rural New Hampshire dared their smallest friend to enter a strange metal hatch buried deep in the woods. Minutes later, he came back screaming in absolute terror… and nothing was ever the same again. As the boy grows increasingly paranoid and begins rambling about a vast underground “slaughterhouse” hidden beneath the forest, the line between childhood imagination and horrifying reality starts to blur. Then, without warning, two children vanish into the woods, but only one of them comes back. And whatever happened out there… may still be waiting beneath the trees.
