DesignerCon Pasadena 2026 - Walkthrough, Recap, & Thoughts!

DesignerCon is back in Pasadena… and honestly, it felt really good to be home. Las Vegas is awesome and there is no denying that it is the bigger show, but there is something special about DesignerCon returning to Pasadena. The smaller hometown feel, the familiar faces, the chance to really stop and talk with artists, friends, and collectors… it brought back that nostalgic energy that made early DesignerCon feel so special. I was only able to attend on Saturday, but the show floor was packed in the best way. The aisles were busy, the booths were buzzing, and it felt like vendors were having a strong day. It never crossed into that overwhelming, shoulder-to-shoulder madness either. The event moved smoothly, people were excited, and there was a real sense of community throughout the room. In this video, I walk the floor at DesignerCon Pasadena 2026, catch up with artists and friends, check out some seriously wild designer toys, sofubi, vinyl figures, custom creations, art collectibles, and all the colorful weirdness that makes this event such a must-see for collectors. DesignerCon itself describes Pasadena as a return to its origins, with a more intimate setting focused on local and international artists, brands, and community connection… and that is exactly how this one felt. From massive booth displays and limited-edition art toys to independent makers, familiar faces, and unexpected new finds, this was one of those convention days that reminded me why I love this scene so much.
