Missa Porta Fidei, Fr Scott A Haynes, SJC

Pope Benedict XVI issued the Apostolic Letter, Porta Fidei, to proclaim the Year of Faith in 2013. Fr. Scott Haynes, SJC, composed the Missa Porta Fidei to commemorate this. The live recording provided here was recorded on May 31, 2013 at the Mass of Ordination for the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius celebrated at St John Cantius Church in Chicago. The celebrant was the Archbishop of Chicago, Francis Cardinal George, OMI. This would be the final Mass of Ordination celebrated by His Eminence. The choir heard on this live and unedited recording is the Resurrection Choir and Orchestra of St. John Cantius Church, as directed by Fr. Scott A. Haynes, SJC.
