The necessity of upstream pressure sustaining and level control
In many situations during the opening of level control valves the upstream pressure drops below the minimum value needed to the population causing complains and unacceptable conditions The video shows the installation of a CSA system for the proper level control with upstream pressure sustaining function, along with a pressure reducing valve XLC 310/410 before it to make sure the static on the level control value won’t exceed the safety level. A pressure relief valve CSA VSM or GEMINA will prevent unwanted pressure fluctuations between the prv and the level control protecting the latter by possible malfunctioning of the PRV.
