Trompe L’œil Moulding Demo — The Art League School

Painter Patrick Kirwin, an instructor at The Art League School, showed us how to create trompe l’œil moulding using black and white paint with acrylic glazing liquid. You'll also need a straight edge, rags for wiping paint away, and angled brushes. Trompe L’œil, French for “fool the eye,” is a genre of painting devoted to optical illusions and realism.
