【9】宴/ Utage Composed by Yasuhiro Ootsuka この曲は、ハンドベルオリジナル作品で1998年に開催された第8回ハンドベル世界大会のマスリンギング曲です。世界大会では多くのリンガー達によって演奏されました。タイトルである「宴」とは、友人や家族、仲間と集まり、食事を共にしながら楽しいひとときを過ごす会や集まりのことを言います。作品ではこの意味の通り、人と人が繋がり、賑やかで和やかな時間が流れる様子を表現しています。多様なリズムやマルテラート、シェイク、リングタッチなどの奏法を用いて躍動感や華やかさが際立ちます。また、高音域の繊細で透明感のある音色と低音域の激しく力強い音色が魅力的です。ハンドベルが奏でる和の雰囲気を感じていただけましたら幸いです。ぜひ、宴の情景を思い浮かべながら楽しんでお聴き下さい。 This piece is an original composition for handbells and was selected as the massed ringing piece for the 8th International Handbell Symposium held in 1998. At the symposium, it was performed by many ringers from around the world.The title, Utage, refers to a gathering where friends, family, and companions come together to share a meal and enjoy a festive time. As the title suggests, the piece portrays people connecting with one another and the lively, harmonious atmosphere of such an occasion.The music features a variety of rhythms and highlights the brilliance and energy of handbell techniques such as martellato, shake, and ring touch.
