I've heard stories about Milton Richard Hogate aka 'Uncle Midnight' from Salem, New Jersey for a couple of years now. He passed when I was 18, but left quite an impression on everyone he ever met and so this song written 54 years after his passing and 119 after his birth is a tribute to a memorable person whose story touched even those he never met.
