Range testing myself on a Haibike Trekking 6 Ebike and almost failing

Ebike adventures start here but it's almost a disaster on my first trip. Chapters 0:02:50 Smilebikes 0:04:45 Starting stats / My Haibike  0:09:50 Reedham Ferry 0:14:20 Reaching 1% with 1 mile to go 0:16:20 Summary Looks like I need to anticipate head winds and inclines and not  expect  the indicated range to be accurate. Weight must make a significant difference along with head winds and inclines. The Haibike Trekking six is the same bike Charlotte is riding but mine is configured differently. It comes in three cross bar or step thru styles and can be configured in more sporty configurations or as in my case a more upright position for comfort and better visibility. The gears, battery and display are the same on all configurations. Incredibly, there are many Trekking bikes in the range all with different motors and batteries so there's a bike for everyone.
