After leaving Enseada de Pouso on Ilha Grande, we headed towards Rio de Janeiro expecting a smooth crossing… But the sea had other plans. The wind cooperated, but the erratic swaying of the waves turned this into one of the most unpleasant crossings we've ever made. The entire crew got seasick, and sailing ended up being much more difficult than we imagined. Fortunately, arriving in Rio brought much better moments. We met up with our friends from the Farofeno Flotilla for days of camaraderie, barbecue, music, and many stories. But the rest was short-lived… At the end of the video, the planning for the next stage of the trip begins, and the forecast indicates strong winds with gusts of up to 40 knots.
