Diesel Heater, Gas Hob and Ready to Roll // Citroen Relay Campervan Build - Episode 14

This one’s the last episode for a bit. We’re at a stage where we can go away and resume normal life, with just a few little bits that need finishing up and tidying. We finish up the lightswitch cover, finally get our drawer catches on, and sort the hob and gas properly so the kitchen’s actually usable. With that sorted, we head off on our first little test trip in the new van - nothing wild, but good to finally get away and see how it all feels on the road. Back home, we get stuck into fitting the diesel heater. A absolute necessity now that summer's over. The van’s sitting at about 95% complete now. The water still needs connecting, windowblinds need fittinh, and there’s a bunch of smaller bits we’ve not had a time to finish. But it’s totally livable, and it feels amazing to be using the space after all the work. With November and December busy with jobs, travel and events, we’re taking a short break from full-time building, and enjoying a bit of autumn/winter in the Highlands. We’ll pick things up in the new year, and once the last bits are done, we’ll put together a big update video.
