Otis Compass Traction Elevators @ Swissôtel, Chicago, IL

Filmed with Samsung Galaxy S9 on November 27, 2021 These are the elevators in the Swissotel in downtown Chicago. These were originally Montgomery Vectors from the late 1980s, but they were modernized in the early 2010s with Otis Compass. These were very busy when I was here. I realize that by calling a few lifts that I ended up not using, I was part of the problem here, but I did that unintentionally while trying to figure out how to get to the top and bottom floors, since it's not always obvious without a panel listing all the options, especially in a tall place like this..
