【奈良県】厳かな空気♪修験道の聖地♪山上ヶ岳♪

On November 7th, 2025, I climbed Mt. Sanjogatake, one of Japan's 300 Famous Mountains and a sacred site of Shugendo (mountain asceticism)! With autumn turning into winter and the start of Rittō (the beginning of winter), winter is almost here in the Ōmine Mountains! Mt. Sanjogatake had a beautiful atmosphere with its late autumn foliage! My route was: A circular route from Seijō Ōhashi Bridge to Dōtsuji Teahouse, Mt. Sanjogatake, Renge-tsuji, and back to Seijō Ōhashi Bridge! The Omotesando route from Seijō Ōhashi Bridge has teahouses and training grounds, but it's well-maintained and easy to walk! The Renge-dani route on the descent has many steep sections, so you need to watch your step! The autumn foliage views from the various training grounds were beautiful! And I felt soothed by the stream-side route on the descent! I hope this is helpful for those planning to climb! (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ
