Maui police searching for suspect after woman molested in sleep

Maui police are searching for a man accused of breaking into a home and sexually assaulting a woman in her sleep. Haiku resident Mirelis Olivieri was sound asleep with her 8-year-old son, and woke up to find they were not alone. “I was laying down facing up, and I started feeling someone touching me. I opened my eyes and there’s a big black figure next to my bed standing and of course I freaked out. My first reaction was screaming,” Olivieri said.
