IWA 2022 Puma Messer und Jagdmesser aus Solingen. Die Traditionelle Messer-Manufaktur aus Solingen.
IWA 2022 Puma Knives and Hunting Knives from Solingen. The Traditional Knife Manufactory from Solingen. The PUMA Chronicle The history of PUMA began in 1769 when Johann Lauterjung registered his trademark in the knife-making register. But the manufacturer's tradition stretches back even further. To a time when numerous grinding workshops, known as "cottes," stood along the Wupper River. Blades were sharpened here on natural sandstone, powered by water power. As recently as the beginning of the 19th century, there were exactly 93 grinding workshops and six hammer forges along the banks of the Wupper. Only the invention of the steam engine heralded a turning point in blademaking. People were no longer dependent on water power. One of the early "cottes" belonged to the Lauterjungs. Historical documents about a legal dispute between the Lauterjung family "against the Vischerey zur Burg" (the "castle") bear witness to this. The Lauterjungs won the lawsuit against the Fischer heirs in 1691 and were subsequently allowed to use the lower reaches of the Wupper River in Balkhausen. The Balkhauser Kotten still stands at the presumed location, today a living museum. The Best of Tradition and Progress PUMA manufactures hunting, sports, and leisure knives. In a city whose name is not without reason a protected trademark for quality knives and scissors: Solingen. PUMA lives up to this city's high standards and has impressed customers for over 250 years with the highest quality in materials and workmanship. Optimal results are achieved through optimal workmanship. We achieve this through the intelligent interplay of traditional manual production and the latest technical know-how. Wherever the use of new manufacturing technology improves our products and thus increases our customer satisfaction, we utilize it. With fully automated CNC machines, for example, we can work much more effectively and precisely. They perform several work steps simultaneously with the utmost precision. However, at PUMA, the traditional manufacturing process maintains its greatest value on the craftsmanship of our employees, their inventiveness, and their personalities. Skills that no machine can replace. Therefore, at the end of every process, quality control is still carried out by the experienced eye of our employees. PUMA is today a leader in the production of hunting, sports, and fishing knives. Worldwide, the name PUMA is synonymous with the highest quality and knife-making expertise. We owe this in part to the choice of our partners, who exclusively focus on quality. When designing our knife collections, we rely on the many years of experience and skills of leading knifemakers, designers, hunting, and trekking specialists. They play a significant role in ensuring that the final product meets our customers' complete satisfaction. And that's what matters to us. PUMA Blade Steels Steel has the widest spectrum of properties that can be specifically tailored and adjusted to a specific purpose through its manufacturing, composition, and heat treatment. The steel grades used by PUMA are tailored to the blade's practical use, ensuring high usability and durability with proper handling. ▬ Many thanks to our subscribers ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬ Via this channel ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ We are your knife-making company with a long tradition. In 1920, master knifesmith Josef Schuhmann founded his grinding shop in Fulda. In 1989, a new apprentice was needed. Mr. Schumann was then 92 years old. He and his daughter chose the intern Jens. After successfully completing his journeyman's examination, he was hired. Since J. Schuhmann died during his apprenticeship, Jens Kubesch went to master craftsman school after completing his apprenticeship and graduated in 1994 with a grade of 2. In 1995, at just 21 years old, Jens bought the workshop at Rangstrasse 71 from Mrs. Schuhmann. He acquired the house from the owner. One year later, the shop also moved, and three years later, the business also became his. ▬ My Equipment ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Camera: DJI Osmo Pocket Gimbal Hero 4 Xiaomi Fimi Palm in conjunction with iPhone 6 + 10 ▬ Our Company ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Kubesch Knifesmiths Rangstr.71 / 36043 Fulda Phone & Fax: +49 661 402599 & 402598 www.messerschmiede-kubesch.shop [email protected]
