BSI removal - Peugeot 406

How to Remove the BSI on a Peugeot 406 BSI stands for Body Systems Interface, and this is essentially the second main ECU that deals with most electrical things inside the car such as the instrument cluster, windows, indicators, wipers, climate control etc. I have had one play up on me in the past and everything in the car can go mad, the dials move up and down for no reason and the fan speed is uncontrollable. Other things it does is stores the cars mileage and contains a relay to turn on the air conditioning. If then for whatever reason you have a fault with your BSI and need to remove it to have it replaced, or repaired then this video will show you how to remove it. I also show to remove the corner section of the dash, i prefer to do this when removing the BSI as it gives better access, but if you want to make an older 406 look a bit newer get a black corner section to replace this from a scrapyard, personally i prefer the black corner section as it matches the rest of the dash, i don't understand why peugeot initially used grey for this part and the glove box.
