Au explanation: Everything is the same as they originally except that instead of Wei Wuxian dying, Wangji managed to escape and go into hiding in the burial mounds, he was so full of hatred and grief that he didn’t even notice the dark resentment entering him, they were hiding for a few days, Wei Wuxian growing weaker by the hour, he had already excepted his fate, but Wangji refused and reminded him of A-yuan who the Wens had left with him and what would happen if he were to leave him alone.
