ROADTRIP: Honda Rebel 1100 // Texas Twisted Sisters // May 2022 - Days 1 & 2

We are headed out to meet a group of riders in the Leakey, TX area to ride the Texas Twisted Sisters this weekend! I'm riding the Rebel 1100 DCT, my son is riding the Yamaha FZ6R, and his friend is on his Yamaha R6. This is a long video, so skip around with the chapter markers below. We made good time getting out to the Leakey, TX area, and we managed to beat the sunset. The sun and heat took a toll on us the first day, so we recuperated in the cabin's air conditioning. Lots of food, beer, and comraderie rounded out our first day. We woke up early on Saturday morning to begin the group rides. Joshua and Vade decided to head out on their own ride to have fun without the slow old folks cramping their style. 😉 The rest of the riders broke into two separate groups and rode different parts of the Three Sisters, Baby Sisters, and Three Brothers routes. I met one of my channel subscribers in the wild when we stopped for fuel in Vanderpool. I saw a Rebel 1100 parked in the shade, so I went over to look at it. I noticed that it had a Coffman's Shorty exhaust and also an AirHawk Cruiser seat pad... what an odd coincidence.
