How to Cook Goat Stew Island Style [Cabrito Guisado]

Let’s Create! Goat meat is extremely delicious and can be cook in a variety of ways. I choose to go to a meat market (they also grow goats for meat) and purchases 4 lbs of goat meat. The part consisted of portion of neck, shoulder, and rib. I decided to cook goat stew (cabrito guisado in Spanish) and it brought memories of my grandmother in Puerto Rico. I cooked with ingredients from the Farmers Market in Virginia (USA). I added a couple of personal touches: saffron and toward the end of the cooking process added some cilantro to bring that earthy aroma.
