Crimzon Clover World EXplosion Arcade Original Type ii 1cc 2.85 trillion

I've been going back and improving my scores for each ship in Arcade Original now that I know how to score better. I got a 2.43 trillion clear but decided to keep grinding to beat the 2.66 trillion that was in 2nd place on the World EXplosion leaderboard. This was the result. Type II is an interesting ship with some unique routing possibilities due to the lockable options. Scoring notes: I got a double break in the final stretch of stage 3 which is huge and I don't usually manage to do. It would have been even better if I could have point blanked better on the first of the final big enemies to get a break, but 602 bil is a great stage 3 score for me. It's unfortunate that I wasn't quite fast enough to get the third ship in stage 4 before the spinny laser things, which meant no double break on them. The double break at the end of the stage 4 boss was because I got spooked by some bullets. That stopped me from doing my usual route for the start of stage 5 but it worked out and my break rate at the gate was on par, although meter was short. I still have no idea how to consistently keep a multiplier from the full lock on at the stage 5 midboss until the missiles start firing. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't. This time I didn't and it cost me maybe 50-80 billion right there and 2000-2500 break rate. Nailing that double break full lock on for the final phase of stage 5 boss was huge. The key is to use the iframes from activating break and double break to let the ball get one more more bounce towards the screen edge. Then you'll have enough time for one chance to time the lock on release correctly and still time for a 1x finish if you release too soon. I was a little bomb-happy on the first TLB pattern due to not wanting to mess it up at this point, resulting in not having enough bombs on the spiral pattern and losing a life there. But that's better than losing two I suppose.
