Illinois Railway Museum: Diesel Days 2025
It's time of the year for Diesel Days Weekend at the Illinois Railway Museum! Join our production team as we head to Union, Illinois from Friday, August 8 through Sunday, August 10 filming various vintage Diesel Locomotives along the rails. We even got to see some of the new equipment that the museum received in recent weeks which are BNSF 9600, Maersk Sealand 6976, Amtrak 231, and Metra 614. All engines were listed on the schedule to run a train throughout the day with the exception of BNSF 9600 as it was on display for cab tours. Our crew was hard at work filming trains between the museum grounds and finding other parts of the property to safely film trains at. We even got to see the grand finale as Metra F40C 614 was the star of the show at the end of the day bringing back some memories for some of us that grew up watching the F40C engines roaming through our area back in the day. Enjoy the full coverage of three days at the Illinois Railway Museum during Diesel Days Weekend!
