Nine Days in Paris, Nice, & Switzerland | Study Abroad Spring Break

Nine days across France and Switzerland for spring break. I started with five days in Paris, then took a six-hour train down to Nice, and finally flew to Basel with a day trip out to Lucerne to see the Alps. In Paris I saw the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, and Sacré-Cœur. I also explored some of the less touristy parts of the city on my own. I walked 20 miles in one day. Nice was beautiful; we mostly just explored the city, took in the views from above, and soaked in the Mediterranean coastline. Basel was a slower, more relaxed stop. And Lucerne was the highlight of Switzerland. The Alps were actually visible and the city was stunning. First big trip of the semester abroad... more to come!
