Building a brick chimney. | The skill of bricklaying

Building up a chimney in brick from just below the roofs ridge. Managed to get the whole done in one hit. We filled in the middle with blocks and just random bricks and muck. Around the middle where the chimney pot things go we used a material called micalite to hold the pots in solid as shown in the video. once we got up so far we corbelled the brickwork over to make the top stand out. We then flaunched up the top with lots of muck to make the effect on top. Added the chimney top and the job was done. I really enjoyed doing this. Filmed only using my iPhone 7 plus.
