Drivers of Global Mineral Demand from 1980 to 2050 - Martin Lynch
In this special JKMRC Friday Seminar, Martin Lynch delivered a presentation in honour of his father, Emeritus Professor Alban Lynch, exploring the forces that have historically driven global mineral demand and how the energy transition will affect demand into the future. Martin holds a BE Chemical from The University of Queensland, worked in various operational and corporate roles at Rio Tinto from 1990 to 2002, consulted in the mineral industry for six years, and then ran a small business selling and installing renewable energy systems. He is also the author of several books, notably 'Mining In World History'.
