Many people who visit Hong Kong will enjoy the city for two nights and three days. However, if possible, why not extend your stay to three nights and visit Hong Kong's neighboring city, Shenzhen? Visas will be liberalized from the end of 2024, allowing you to travel to China visa-free. Of course, you may have mixed feelings about Shenzhen, but you'll experience a different atmosphere than Hong Kong. Shenzhen was developed under Deng Xiaoping's reform and opening-up policy in 1980, and is a new Chinese city, but it has now developed into one of China's four major cities. It is home to the headquarters of some of China's world-leading companies, including BYD, the EV manufacturer, Tencent, WeChat, DJI, the drone and action camera manufacturer, and Huawei, the smartphone manufacturer. It will be a city where you can pay with electronic money or QR codes without having to carry cash. Why do I recommend it? Of course, Hong Kong is a city where Western and Eastern cultures mix, and it's a place where you can mainly enjoy Cantonese cuisine, but Shenzhen is a new city with a lot of excitement and a large population of immigrants from within China, making it a place where you can enjoy Chinese cuisine other than Cantonese. Also, while many of the things sold on Amazon and other sites are made in China, you can often purchase them cheaply. It's only 14 minutes by bullet train from Hong Kong, so I recommend spending a day in Shenzhen.
